Actors Vijay and Ajith are heading towards their golden jubilees -- their 50th films. Suriya is also approaching his silver jubilee; his rapidly progressing Singam is his 25th film. Today, when hardly any film runs for 25 weeks (silver jubilee) and many actors sink into oblivion after just a couple of appearances, these numbers assume great significance for the actors.
